We had the time of our lives! I fell in love with Il Borghetto and Sandra and Nickola and Simona and Ricardo! I loved our cottage, Capanna di Sopra, it was our little piece of heaven while we were there. We did many day trips that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Our only regret was that we had not booked for two weeks instead of one. We did not aniticipate falling in love with these people and their Villa and would have cherished more time just at the Villa to take it all in. I was drawn in by the history of the Villa and the owners affection and commitment to this beautiful place. I have to say it was the owners that made the difference with their personal hands on touch of heart and soul to make this the excellent vacation it was. I can't wait to go back! L.H. July 2014

We had an amazing trip and absolutely loved Capanna di Sopra. This was one of the best trips we have ever taken, and it on our list to do again. Simona and Sandra were the most wonderful hosts. The highlights for us were the dinners at the villa and the Tuscan cooking class. I have made the menu often since returning home...still working on the gnochhi, but the rest of it comes out great!! The pool was lovely and a welcome respite at the end of some long days sightseeing in nearby towns. We made some great new friends and look forward to returning. I can honestly say our experience was even better than we could have imagined. We had a wonderful and beautiful time. Our hosts were very helpful, and we thought our "villa" was perfect. We had just the right mixture of privacy with our family, but we all had the opportunity to meet others. We had a great time meeting families from other countries at the pool, and eating leisurely dinners over the Tuscan hills. We used Il Borgheto as our base and had the chance to go to Florence, Siena, Pisa and nearby San Gimignano( yes, one of our favorites.) I would recommend this to anyone... The only thing that didn't make this a full 5 stars was the need to pay for the pool towels, and extra towels...However, your recommendations were right on and we would absolutely work through you again.
