We had the best time at Il Pescatore. The house is beautiful and it’s location couldn’t be more perfect. We had a cool breeze all day long and even when it got into the 90’s it was still great. We enjoyed the views from all the rooms, the many outside sitting areas and balconies and the ‘away from it all’ location – yet so close to Bellagio and Menaggio – 2 great little towns to visit . It’s a great vacation spot. A great plus was also that Daniela – the key holder – was very knowledgeable about the area and helped us out with new tips every day. We would definitely recommend it. Daniela was so wonderful, the location was perfect (in fact, we think it was the best spot in the whole lake – the house has the best position on the lake and San Siro village itself is a great gateway to the rest of the lake), the house was spotless and great fun with all the rooms and terraces etc – the kids loved it! Our highlight was sitting on the lower terrace in the evening, chatting to the local fisherman. Very authentic. We would love to return to Il Pescatore. Thanks so much for all your help.
