First of all, thank you for visiting us!  We are committed to providing the most responsive and helpful assistance in our industry and try very hard to assure that our clients are satisfied.

We are very aware that you care about how your personal information is used, and we appreciate your trust that we will use it carefully and sensibly.  Our policies and practices regarding online privacy are explained in this document.

Information we gather about you

1. Information you give us
   
   All information you provide to us online comes to us in the form of an email communication.  In addition to the ‘email us’ link provided on most pages, this also includes the Reservation Request from most of our properties.  We do not require you to register with our site, but the option is available to you if you choose.
   
   Without exception, our use of your information is limited to the purpose for which it was provided.  When you give us your name, address, telephone number and email address, we use it only to provide you with important information about your rental and our services.  We do not share this information with our partners or affiliates, and we do not sell or otherwise share this information with any other outside parties without your consent.
   
   

2. Automatic information
   
   We do not maintain any form of automated information gathering about you.
   
   

3. Email communication
   
   All email communication between us is carried out solely for the purpose for which it was initiated—your travel to Italy and matters related to this.  We do maintain our email messages in an electronic archive for the purpose of later retrieval.  We do not and will not share this information with third parties without your consent.
   
   

4. Credit card information
   
   At this time, your credit card details for vacation rentals are not provided to us online.  This information is entered onto your booking documents, which are sent to us via fax or mail.  These documents are maintained in our offices and the credit card information is used only for the purposes of completing your deposit and final payments to us.  Credit card information is not shared with outside parties for any reason.

   When you use one of our affiliate services, please be aware that you become the affiliate’s client and that their privacy policy will apply.  When you purchase from them, you are entering into a transaction that is outside of the control of Gira!, Inc., and that payment, fulfillment and customer service duties will be performed by the affiliate.
