Villa Castiglione Annex is a cozy and elegantly renovated apartment located
behind the owner's house on a classic and rustic Tuscan estate that lies in a
scenic and peaceful location. The annex may be rented either separately or
in combination with
Villa
Castiglione. The accommodation is completely independent and has its
own private small garden with patio for al fresco dining. It's well placed
in the Chianti hills in the area between Florence and Siena. The property
is 50 square meters, which is about 540 square feet.
There is a living room with sofa bed and working fireplace. The
kitchenette includes a stove, refrigerator, sink and coffee maker. The
bedroom has twin beds, which can be joined. There is a bathroom with
bathtub. There are screens on the windows and there is a WiFi Internet
connection (free up to 200MB per day).
From here you can easily take day trips to the most interesting hill towns and
wine centers in Chianti. There is a village nearby, close enough to walk,
where there are restaurants and shops.
This beautiful unit is set in a quiet position, surrounded by vineyards, olive
groves and cypress trees in a landscape modeled by centuries of farmers' patient
toil. The views encompass the Castle of Santa Maria Novella and stretch as far
as the towers of San Gimignano.
This property is now part of a farm of 69 acres, specialized in the production
of extra virgin olive oil and you may purchase the products of the farm during
your stay. The annex can be rented separately for 2-4 guests or together
with the main villa for 9-13 guests.
The guests of the annex may use the pool only when the annex and Villa
Castiglione are rented together.
The annex may be rented on a
daily (three night minimum) or weekly basis. Dates for daily rentals can
be flexible, but cannot span two Saturday to Saturday periods.
