Working with your agency was very easy and you were very helpful throughout. Every question I had you were able to answer about the villa and there were no problems booking the reservation. All of the instructions that you emailed to me ahead of time were very clear and it made it very easy to find and check into the villa. We had a fabulous time at Capannino. The villa was even more spacious and beautiful than we expected. The pictures of the villa online were very helpful but it looks even better in person. The key person, Corrina, was so wonderful and helpful throughout our stay. Upon our arrival she had coffee, wine and apertivo ready for us when we were checking in. The villa was immaculate and beautifully furnished, including everything you'd need for a long stay in the country. We had a little trouble using the European washer and dryer and so ended up taking our laundry into town and having it done. Corrina insisted the villa pay for it, but we wouldn't let her. The pool was perfect too; cleaned daily, well kept and private. The view was spectacular. We couldn't believe our eyes. The villa is perched on a hill and every time we looked out a window we had a perfect view of the most beautiful Tuscan scenery. The villa is very close to charming Castelina in Chianti, where you can go to dinner or buy things from the market. As you know, the estate owners arranged for a tour of the winery, a private wine tasting on the estate and an authentic Tuscan dinner. It was all so wonderful and Corrina was so charming and answered all our questions about the estate and wine making. The Tuscan dinner was especially fun. We had been sight seeing in Cortona and came home to Paola, a local Tuscan chef, making our dinner in the kitchen. Her English was very good and she cooked the most amazing meal for us. She was a lot of fun too and we all sat at the table and drank wine from the estate and talked and laughed. She was amazing. It was one of our favorite nights throughout the time we spent in Italy. It was sad for us to leave. If we had to do it over again, we wouldn't have changed a thing. And if we go back to Tuscany, we would want to stay at Capannino again. L.W. September 2013 |
