We have travelled extensively throughout the world. Casa Scimone in Taormina, Sicily is one of our favorite places. It has a commanding view of the Mediterranean and Mt. Etna and is centrally located within easy walking distance of the picturesque town with its great shopping, historical sites and wonderful restaurants. Casa Scimone is on a quiet street easily accessible, with gated off-street parking. All the rooms and patios are professionally maintained and immaculate. Every detail is attended to, including a wonderful elevator. All of this is enough to highly recommend Casa Scimone, but there is another feature that makes it stand alone: its owner who is welcoming, gracious, very helpful and professional. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat and visit, made reservations for us and joined us for a home-cooked dinner on the villa’s patio. The meal, by the way, was one of the best we had in Italy and is not to be missed. When you stay at Casa Scimone, you will join the chorus of all who sign its praise. W.O. Sept 2017

We had a great time at the Casa Scimone... and it was a delight to meet Micaela. The villa is perfect for visiting the city and walking to shops and restaurants... yet not in the crowds. The accomodations are fantastic and the two adjacent villas are like two perfect getaways with the main one is easy access to the smaller villa. so many great places to relax in the gardens and patios with drop dead gorgeous views of Mt Etna and the village. I loved the elevator up to the villa on the third floor. Parking was easy and safe behind the gate in the courtyard. The kitchen and dining areas were wonderfully equipped from the espresso maker to the the various knives, pots, pans. We cooked the feast of the seven fishes on Christmas eve at the villa. modern sound system throughout the villa was fantastic. negatives: I would like to stay longer Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and with wonderful views as well! we would love to return. feel free to share with your clients.
