The Villa was in a beautiful setting on Lago Maggiore. My family of 12 agreed that this was the best of 6 European Villa experiences we've had. The Villa itself was very comfortable, and although we had our privacy at the Villa, we were within walking distance of the town with plenty of shops and restaurants. We took advantage of the proximity to Switzerland and booked a train to Zermatt to view the spectacular Matterhorn. J.B. 2016

First and foremost - we loved Bellezza del Lago! I went with 7 friends and everyone thought it was wonderful. The villa was great - we particularly liked the location on the lakeside - beautiful sunsets!! I liked the village of Laveno because it was so untouristy, yet you had Stresa nearby if you wanted the tourist bits. The walk into town was fine, we didn't mind it being uphill coming home, but others might and taxis are not always available. We had a problem with hot water the first day - there was none. But they were very prompt in coming to sort that out. There was a problem in reaching anyone later in the week to find out when they would arrive on Saturday to return our deposit. No one was available on any of the phone numbers we had. We just had to wait on Saturday until Ida arrived. She was very apologetic that she was delayed - and that was fine - luckily I didn't have a flight to catch. Ida drove us from and to the station - a big help since taxis are scarce there. I would recommend this villa to everyone and we were all very happy with your agency and the information you provided. The only weakness might be the local agency. When we had trouble reaching anyone by phone about our departure - one of the people we rang was no longer working for the agency and none of the others answered their phones. I take partial blame that I didn't sort out our departure with Ida on arrival, but it really was the last thing on my mind at that stage. So yes, we loved it and we are all ready to go back!
