Hi Jim and Susan, We had a FANTASTIC time in Italy. The concierge Babette was invaluable! She had great places for us to eat and visit and was very, very helpful overall. The house, as usual, was fantastic! We also would highly recommend Salvadonica, a hotel with a restaurant just around the corner from the house. We stayed there friday night and the rooms were great, and the food and staff wonderful. We took everyone to dinner there on wednesday of our week and we had a great dinner!! Hope you had a great summer! And as always, working with you was great! Thanks! K.W. June 2015 I wanted to send you a quick e-mail to let you know how wonderful our experience at Casa Matteo was! Babeth & Daniella were so sweet and made the experience all the more perfect. The villa really is convenient for a big crowd and yet so comfortable and inviting. We had the stone pizza at the villa and that was something we would all do again....of course we would do it at the beginning of the trip so that we could take advantage of the leftovers. It was absolutely delicious....and this is coming from foodies:) I would like to stay in that villa with my family on our next visit to Tuscany. Thank you for all of your help. Italy is very special to my husband and me, and we would love to work with you again in the future. Take care, hope to get to Italy again soon! K.W. November 2013 Wasn't the house spectacular! We had such a great time there that on the last 2 days of our stay we all decided to stay in and enjoy the house! Simonetta who prepared the dinner on our arrival was fantastic and Simone who made the pizzas another evening was spectacular! Patrizia is so accommodating and was extremely helpful when were trying to get the internet connection working and for directions to various places. This is a fantastic house with great accommodations and I would not hesitate a moment to stay there again. Also when you do have people booking this house, I would tell them there are hair dryers in every bathroom and toilet paper is provided - which may not be the case with other residences. Thanks for such a great experience~ Linda 08/2007 We had a wonderful time in Italy at Casa Matteo - the house was even more lovely in person than it was in the photos online. Patrizia was very helpful to us in arranging dinners and making reservations -- she is very sweet. Similarly, the housekeeper Sandra was very helpful and kind as well. The house was very well appointed and comfortable -- it was certainly ample space for our family. It was very nice to have modern bathrooms and a modern kitchen; the washer/dryer were handy as well. We came to appreciate these features even more having seen other homes with less modern facilities. The Wifi was very helpful for work and for the kids to have contact with home. It also allowed us to send many beautiful photos of our travels home instantly! The vegetable garden and pool were two fantastic features which we thoroughly enjoyed. The small jacuzzi turned out to be kind of a private pool for our 5 year-old son who is not yet a strong swimmer! We don't have too many negative things to say at all -- very minor points come to mind such as they really need to get softer and nicer pillows - they had the foam 8 inch thick kind -- hardly seems worth mentioning but after 2 weeks you notice it! Also -- we didn't really understand why the housekeeper would not empty the dishwasher which is something our housekeeper does at home. Maybe that's a peculiarly American housekeeper job? Thank you for all your help arranging our trip and for the lovely bottle of wine for our special dinner - it was a wonderful and delicious surprise! We have been very pleased to deal with Gira - you really helped to make our vacation special! All of the booking procedures were straightforward and the description of the property was accurate. It was helpful to have all inclusions so carefully spelled out. Enjoy the rest of the summer! Any questions that came up were answered quickly, but more importantly, you two were very "approachable" making it easy to ask any and all questions regarding the property and amenities and fees! Casa Matteo was ABSOLUTELY FAB!! Patrizia was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and very very helpful....and they came everyday...but they did not feel like an "intrusion" at all...we always had plenty of questions and they couldn't have been more helpful....and the fresh vegetables every day were great!! The house itself was beautiful, the location was great, the view was amazing....yes, we'd love to go back!! Enjoy the rest of your summer....and we look forward to working with you in the future!
