Villa Isabel offers our special “arrive and relax” package:
A simple typical dinner is provided on your arrival night. This is a welcome
sight after a long flight and will allow you to check in, unpack and relax. You
will find the dinner in the kitchen with the instructions for heating. The
dinner is also suitable for vegetarian guests. It basically consists of a pasta
al forno, a vegetable tarte, salad, and fruit. Bread, water and wine are
included.
The first floor features two bedrooms: Two air
conditioned double bedrooms (beds are 180cm by 200cm) and two bathrooms. On this level there is
also a spacious gourmet kitchen and a large living room with
dining area and great lake view.
The lower level features a large (63
square meters) air conditioned suite with round double bed, fireplace, kitchenette corner, Jacuzzi
hydrotherapy bath, chromotherapy shower and large glass sliding doors
overlooking the lake. Wine cellar. Also on this level there is a
twin/double air conditioned bedroom (beds are 90cm by 200cm and can be joined)
with sauna and bathroom.
The outdoor features
a summer lounge with sunbeds, another outdoor eating area, an outdoor shower,
BBQ, wood oven, pool with heating system.
Air conditioning
is provided in the upper floor bedrooms, living room and the lower level bedrooms.
The villa is perfectly equipped for anything from a few
days to a long summer holiday. The owners took care of absolutely every detail.
There is
complete privacy and seclusion, waterfront and boat access.
The Lake
Maggiore area is one of the greenest in Italy. Natural parks include the Val
Grande National Park, Italy’s largest wilderness area, the Alpe Veglia and
Devero Regional Park and the Wildlife Oasis of Macugnaga, on the lower slopes of
Monte Rosa
The Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore is fringed with the little
towns of Sesto Calende, Angera, Santa Caterina del Sasso, Laveno, Luino and
Maccagno, each with attractive natural or architectural features typical of
lakeside communities.
Outstanding among the historical treasures of the
Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore are the Rocca di Angera, a superbly conserved
medieval castle in a dominating position, the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del
Sasso, a fine monastery complex dating from the 14th century, perched on a cliff
above the lake and the Borromeo Islands.
