This beautiful manor farm - originally an ancient watchtower - is located in the heart of the Modica countryside, with its typical landscapes characterized by centuries-old olive trees and dry stone walls, a corner of Sicily in which art, history, landscape and nature harmoniously blend together. Recently restored with great care, the farm has been transformed into a charming guest house. Guests can use large living and dining areas, the bedrooms are all comfortable and spacious, furnished in a sober, modern style, with private bathroom and direct access to the courtyard. Inside the house, you can still find an ancient oil mill and a wine tasting room.
Outside,the courtyard is surrounded by a large garden with a beautiful 7x14m swimming pool for customer exclusive use. A vegetable garden with some seasonal vegetables is available to guests.
As part of a 20-hectare property, the Antica Masseria offers you the opportunity to enjoy walks in full relax through the easy paths leading to the beautiful countryside or the vast expanses of olive trees.
The sea can be reached in a 10 /20 minutes car drive. The beaches of Pozzallo Sampieri are within a range of 20 km. The nearest grocery store is 3 km away and Modica, with shops and services of all kinds, is 9 km away.
We are in the heart of Sicilian Baroque, with its important and representative towns of Modica, Scicli, Ragusa and Noto whichdeserve a dedicated visit. Don’t miss to visit to the Archaeological Park of Cava d`Ispica, or the oasis Vendicari, famous for its crystal clear waters, and the beautiful town of Syracuse.

On request while booking, it is possible to organise tours and thematic weeks such as typical Sicilian cuisine classes, cycling day trips, specific touristic excursions around the Baroque area and the Iblei Mountains.
Accommodation (500 sq meters):
From the large courtyard called baglio, to the right you have access to the common area, consisting of spacious living areas and an adjacent dining room, a mezzanine with SAT TV that overlooks the living area and that can serve as a studio or reading corner; kitchen with oven, freezer, microwave and dishwasher, large multi-purpose room that can be used as a dining or meeting room. From the courtyard you also have access to 4 bedrooms, two larger ones with beds on a mezzanine, and of which 3 with private bathroom with shower and 1 with bath and shower. Access from the inner courtyard into the garden and the rear side of the farm structure. To the right we find 3 other spacious and bright bedrooms with private bathroom with shower, one on the ground floor and the other 2 on the first floor. On the left side of the door that separates the courtyard from the garden there are 2 bedrooms with small sitting area and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor and mezzanine sleeping area. Continuing to the left you can reach a large open space overlooked by three bedrooms on the ground floor with a bathroom with shower.
All bedrooms can be converted ??into twin rooms.
