The stretch of coast known as the Etruscan Coast, goes from Castiglioncello to the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia. Between sea and nature, a fascinating path unfolds and makes you discover the architectural artistic and cultural treasures, heritage of this land. The Etruscan civilization has left important evidence, including the only necropolis built facing the sea. Valuable artefacts are collected in museums.
With a sea which was awarded the EU Blue Flag and other major prizes for the cleanliness of the water and the quality of services and facilities, long beaches of thin and dense grained sand alternate with rocky coastline.
Villa Meluccio is located about 9 km from the beaches of Vada and 25 Km from Bolgheri, an ancient village that inspired famous poets. Craft shops, wine bars, pubs and popular restaurants offer typical local food and gastronomic products, accompanied by magnificent Bolgheri DOC wines such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia.
The Villa stands on top of a hill, as part of a large private property and enjoys a striking panoramic position. In the distance you can see the sea from the middle of a park surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, and with a private 6x12 m swimming pool.
Villa Meluccio has air conditioning in every room, satellite TV, Internet, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and barbecue.
The outdoor patio is fitted with table and chairs for outdoor dining.
Within a few kilometres you will find shopping centres and amusement parks for adults and children.
Accommodation (450 sq meters):
GROUND FLOOR: living room with fireplace, TV room, large dining room , kitchen with built-in barbecue, oven and dishwasher, 1 bathroom with shower.
FIRST FLOOR: 2 king-size double bedrooms with bathroom with shower and bath tub, 1 double bedroom, 3 twin bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with shower.
BASEMENT: TV room, playroom for kids, pantry with freezer, 1 twin bedroom suitable for service staff or children, 1 bathroom with shower.
Paid on site in cash: Obligatory cleaning during the week: 3 hours a day, 5 days per week for a total of 200 Euros per week. Electricity included up to a consumption of 150 kW; any excess shall be paid at a cost of Euro 0,50 per KW .
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
Cots for babies under 2 yrs: Cot with bars available: free of charge.
