This old mill lies in a lovely valley on the edge of a small stream, inside a large property where there is also a large country house. Il Mulino enjoys excellent privacy due to its secluded position. The interior furnishings are of a very high quality, consisting mostly of period furniture. There are furnished outside areas and a gazebo, and over a little bridge you come to a clearing where there is an exclusive swimming-pool (4x8m). We`re about 25 kms from Florence here, which can be reached comfortably both by car and in about 20 minutes by train. Borgo San Lorenzo is about 6 kms away with shops of all kinds, and 15 kms away is the lake at Bilancino where there are various water sports and a golf course. A small pet is admissable. There are many pleasant trips that can be organized in the surrounding hills, with various levels of effort involved. Included in the price is some domestic help for 2 hours a day from Monday to Saturday, and final cleaning. On request extra hours of domestic help can be organized, also bed- and bath-linen changes during the week, or a cook. Throughout the area you will find many typical local trattorias where you can enjoy the traditional local cuisine.
