Villa Toscana is a classic farmhouse, situated on the edge of the
hamlet of Vico d’Elsa, in the hills between Florence and Siena, facing San Gimignano.
Thanks to the careful restoration, Villa Toscana has become an
enchanting country residence.
The interiors are bright and comfortably furnished.
The floors are made of Tuscan terracotta tiles and the ceilings feature wooden
beams.
The house is surrounded by a spacious garden with private parking
facilities. Descending a stairs guests can reach the swimming pool, overlooking
the surrounding countryside.
The villa develops on two floors.
GROUND FLOOR
The Kitchen
The large kitchen is equipped with the latest
technology (dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, double-door fridge with
ice-dispenser), and the furniture is in authentic Tuscan style, fully evoking
old-fashioned charm.
Outside, next to the kitchen, is a large porch for
dining al fresco in the garden.
The Lounge
The lounge is a large room with
all the original features of the old farmhouse, displaying the traditional
construction techniques once used. Every detail has been meticulously studied.

On this floor there are two bedrooms, each with air conditioning. One has 2 twin beds (beds cannot be joined), en-suite bathroom with shower and large glass French windows
opening out onto the garden. The other bedroom is a queen bedded room and uses the bathroom with shower located in the corridor. There is an additional bathroom with shower and a washing machine on this floor.
A wide, solid wood open staircase leads from the
lounge to the upper floor.
UPPER FLOOR
The Games Room
On the
upper floor there is a big room with wooden beam ceiling, and panoramic windows,
furnished with a beautiful wood billiard and a card table.
Three Bedrooms
There are 3 air conditioned bedrooms on this floor: 1 queen bedded room with ensuite bathroom and shower and 2 twin bedded rooms (beds cannot be joined). These 2 bedrooms share one bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and Jacuzzi shower.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is oval in shape.
The surrounding
garden is fully furnished with loungers and accessories for sunbathing by the
wooden patio. The swimming pool is open in 2016 from May 14 until September
24. Pool cleaning service is included.
The owner’s villa is nearby, behind the pool area, also set in a private
position.
For bookings of two weeks or more, 3 hours of cleaning are
included on intermediary Saturdays.
