Podere Caldio is a splendid property set in around 20 hectares of land, most of which consists of vineyards and olive-groves. It is located in a panoramic and well-ventilated position, immersed within the green tranquility of the classic Tuscan hills. The large farmhouse, which lies in the center of the property, is divided into two residential units. The owners live in the larger part whereas the ground floor apartment on the swimming pool side is available for guests. The apartment is pleasantly furnished and well-equipped. It also has a small furnished loggia and an outdoor area. The beautiful large swimming pool, which is occasionally also used by the owners, is just a few meters away from the house. Opposite the swimming pool is a structure with a table for enjoying outdoor meals and barbecues. The small town of San Casciano is just 4 Km away and has all kinds of shops. Florence is around 15/20 minutes away by car (20 Km) and Siena is approx. 55 km away. The whole Chianti district is within easy reach of the property making it possible to organize interesting visits to the many wonderful medieval towns in the vicinity such as, for example, San Gimignano, Radda in Chianti, Greve in Chianti and Monteriggioni, to name just a few.
