Villino Balbia is situated in a premium lakeside spot in Ossuccio, a
beautiful mid-lake town on Lake Como's popular western shore. The
famous Villa Balbianello is close by, and Bellagio is right across the
lake. It is a 500 square meter villa on a lake shore property of
2.5 acres with a swimming pool (8m x 16m) and boat house and a stunning
view of Lake Como and the mountains beyond.

The main villa has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Opposite the villa is an
annex with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. All bedrooms have en-suite
bathrooms.
IN THE
MAIN VILLA:
Ground floor
There is a main entrance through a glass door with a view directly out
to the lake. This level includes a well furnished kitchen
equipped with a variety of modern appliances, espresso machine, boiling
teapot, two ovens, dishwasher, a large refrigerator and a dining
area. Just outside there is a dining area under a pergola for al
fresco dinners or breakfasts.
A comfortable salon on this level provides two couches, armchairs and a
fireplace. The main dining area can accommodate up to eight
people. The veranda facing the lake also has a dining area and
provides a relaxing lounge with couches and armchairs. Thanks to
the automatic removable glass windows it is also a perfect place to
relax in winter time
A laundry room provides a washing machine, dryer and ironing
table. There is a small office in the staircase area.
A guest bathroom is provided for use on the ground floor.
First floor
On arriving at this level, there is a small office straight ahead,
opening onto the terrace.
Master bedroom with ensuite bath: Queen bed, a dressing room,
three windows and a double glass door
opening on the sunbathing terrace facing the lake.

Opposite the main villa there is an independent studio with kitchen,
dining room and salon, which is suitable for people with walking
difficulties. Here you will find one bedroom with a queen bed and
bathroom with shower and sink.

Ossuccio sits on the shores of Lake Como west branch, it is a pretty
village with a dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains. The village,
which has origins dating back to the Romans faces the little island of
Comacina.
There are several restaurants, coffee bars and food shops in the
village. Ferries for Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio depart from
Cadenabbia 5 km away.
The Sacro Monte di Ossuccio (literally ‘Sacred Mount of Ossuccio’) is
one of the nine sacri monti in the Italian regions of Lombardy and
Piedmont which were recognized on the UNESCO list of World Heritage
Sites in 2003.
The devotional complex is located on a prealpine crag some 200 meters
above the western shore Lake Como, facing Isola Comacina and some 25 km
from the city of Como.
