Villa Clara is a luxurious lakeside villa which can
comfortable accommodate up to 18 guests. Available as either a 7-bedroom or 9-bedroom villa, all bedrooms offer en
suite baths and the entire property is air conditioned.
Because of its convenient in-town setting, it is easy to
shop and dine in the charming village of Torno, where the villa is located (just
eight kilometers north of the town of Como). Ferry service to all parts of the lake is close by.
Villa Clara offers exquisite, spacious interiors and a variety of modern
amenities including WiFi Internet, satellite TV, daily cleaning and a fully
equipped kitchen. Cook and porter
services are available on request.
An ultra-modern heated pool provides a cozy and panoramic
setting to enjoy a swim and take in a direct view of the lake. With the use of a remote control, the pool can be covered
or uncovered – and its depth can be changed from a child-friendly wading pool to
a regular 120 cm deep swimming pool!
Ground floor
This level offers:
- Private entrance.
- Garage and guest bathroom.
- Spacious covered conservatory with sofas and
sitting areas and large French doors opening to the terrace.
- Formal dining room for 16 guests,
which opens up to the
terrace.
- The fully equipped kitchen with French doors opening to the
terrace (2 gas + 4 electric burners, large oven, large fridge/freezer,
microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine).
- Very large panoramic terrace furnished with ottomans
and sofas, outdoor dining table under a jasmine pergola, amazing heated pool
(6.5 x 3 meters, variable depth) with jet-stream for swimming or massage.
- Ten
steps down is a private dock for boat excursions.
- Stairs and an elevator
with access to the other floors.
First floor
This level offers:
- Master bedroom with king bed
that can be configured as twins, satellite TV, French doors leading to the
terrace overlooking the lake, walk-in closet, en suite bathroom with double
sinks with marble counter, tub and separate large marble shower stall.
- Living room with working fireplace and plasma TV, French
doors enjoying lake views.
- Pale pink double bedroom (twins can combine) en suite
bath (tub with hand held shower) French doors enjoying lake views.
- Aubergine bedroom with French bed (140 cm): and en suite

This level offers:

All the bedrooms on this level are connected by a
hallway with large French windows leading to the shaded rear garden where is a
conservatory with table tennis, stairs and elevator to the other floors.
Mansard - This floor is on request and can be rented upon
the owner’s approval

opening towards the panoramic terrace (lake view).
- Fully equipped kitchen opening toward the terrace.

The large front terrace looking over the private marina is
furnished with comfortable couches, chairs and sofas. Opposite, under the shade of a jasmine, is
a dining table
perfect for al fresco dining enjoying the views of the blue waters.
Cars must be parked at the entrance to the town (2 parking
spaces on the state road level are available for guests). The walk to the villa
is 5-7 minutes downhill with some stone shallow stairs. For people with walking
difficulties, upon request it is possible to arrange transport with a special

The charming village of Torno is set at the southern end of
the Como branch on the coastline leading to Bellagio, only 8 km north of Como
town, just across from the Villa d’Este Hotel. Torno has a lovely piazza, a nice bar and restaurants and
the ferry station with regular public boat service connecting to Como, Bellagio,
Cernobbio, Menaggio, Varenna and other destinations…it’s a great way to explore
the lake
The property is on the shore of the lake in the heart of
the historic village just a few meters from the church and the restaurants and
approx 300 meters downhill from the busy state road that connects Como to
Bellagio.
Being completely close to cars the area is peaceful and
quiet. Villa Clara can also be accessed by boat.
