This delightful apartment is in the Cannaregio “sestriere” or quarter, just a few steps away from the Santa Lucia railway station. The Cannaregio quarter is filled with history and beautiful architecture. In fact, the roots of Venetian Judaism can be found here with the historical Ghetto area and the Synagogue that is open to the public and just a short walk away. There are also lots of churches to visit in the neighborhood, such as, for example, the Church of the Madonna dell`Orto and the Church of the SS Apostoli.
It is very pleasant to take a stroll along the famous `Strada Nuova`, the commercial center of Venice, a long, wide “calle” or alley, crammed with all types of stores, that leads directly to the central Rialto area. From here, Piazza San Marco is just another five minute walk away. For those who prefer to use the “vaporetto” or water boat, the nearest stop is right outside the apartment.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a high class “Palazzo” with magnificent views of the Canal Grande. There is no elevator/lift.

THIRD FLOOR: entrance hall; living room with double sofa bed and TV + dining area and kitchenette (microwave, freezer and washing machine); an archway separates the living room from the double bedroom, with views of the Canal Grande, and two single beds that can be joined together; 1 bathroom with bathtub. The apartment has air conditioning and a washing machine.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
Cots for babies under 2 yrs: Cot with bars available: free of charge.
