Situated in a peaceful area of the Cannaregio “sestriere” or quarter, this delightful apartment is just a few steps away from the Santa Lucia railway station. The Cannaregio quarter is filled with history and beautiful architecture. In fact, the roots of Venetian Judaism can be found here with the historical Ghetto area and the Synagogue. There are also lots of churches to visit in the neighborhood, starting with the Church of the Madonna dell`Orto and ending with the Church of the SS Apostoli.
By walking along the famous `Strada Nuova`, the commercial center of Venice, a long, wide “calle” or alley crammed with all types of stores, it is possible to reach the central Rialto bridge area from the apartment in around 10 minutes. For those who prefer to get to the Rialto area, as well as Piazza San Marco, in just a few minutes, the “vaporetto” or water boat stop is around 200 meters away.
The apartment is situated inside a former historical industrial building that has been completely renovated and divided into apartments which have modern interiors whilst maintaining the original structure designed by the futurist architect Angiolo Mazzoni.
The apartment is very luminous, pleasantly furnished and well-equipped. It is on the first floor and has an elevator/lift. A mobile air conditioning unit is available in the living room. ADSL Broadband WI-FI provided (at a cost of € 2 per day).
