The villa was built in 1970 and was selected, furnished and personalized using the collection of precious objects and furnishings belonging to Count M. Caracciolo, the descendent of a prestigious and noble Neapolitan family, who decided to move to Sorrento, the `Terra delle Sirene` or “Land of Sirens”.
SORRENTO is situated on the top of an impressive cliff overlooking the sea. For many years it has been the destination of aristocratic Italian and international families who traditionally come here to enjoy the climate and beautiful landscapes of this generous land.
Over the years, VILLA ROBERTA has been constantly modernized and is now a perfect holiday villa. It is located in the most exclusive part of Sorrento where the city`s most famous hotels can be found. It is a modern, fully detached and fenced town-house which has all mod cons as well as the privacy of a villa despite being located in the heart of this wonderful town.

USEFUL INFORMATION:
Many public services are just a short walk away and guests can completely forget about using the car. Sorrento is well connected to the places of greatest cultural and scenic interest in the area: Capri is 15 minutes away by hydrofoil, Pompeii is 15 minutes away by train, and the beautiful villages along the Amalfi Coast can be easily reached by bus. Sorrento also offers a wide range of eateries, from starred restaurants to characteristic “trattorias” where it is possible to sample the typical cuisine of Sorrento which includes fish dishes as well as many other specialties.
