The villa nestles on the hills outside Lucca around eight kilometers north of the town, near the ancient Pieve di San Pancrazio church. This area features some of the most important Renaissance residences of Lucca which were not just holiday homes but often regular public buildings.
This ancient country villa has been renovated to preserve all the original external features using modern technology and high quality finishings. The interesting combination of modern styles and antique pieces gives all the rooms in the house a characteristic and unique atmosphere.
The villa has: air conditioning in the bedrooms, underfloor central heating, satellite TV, internet connection, dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue.
Outdoors there is a swimming pool (7 x 14 m) for the exclusive of the guests. The whole property is surrounded by a large fenced garden which is tended by the caretaker who lives in a small independent apartment.
The Versilia coast, which includes Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, is around 40 Km away and can be reached by car in around 45 minutes. The typical gastronomy of the Lucca area features a variety of traditional dishes and is one of the main reference points of Tuscan cuisine.
On request, a chef can be provided to prepare excellent suppers.
