La Petrara is an old farm dating back to the 1800s situated in a beautiful panoramic position close to the splendid bay of Sampieri. The building has been entirely renovated and divided into 5 apartments plus the owners’ residence. The pleasant interiors are fully fitted out with an intelligent blend of modern furnishings as well as period materials and utensils.
La Petrara is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature overlooking the countryside and the sea. Located nearby (around 2.5 Km) is the characteristic village of Sampieri, with its stone buildings and narrow alleyways, a typical fishing village from where the golden Sampieri beach begins. There are many other beaches to visit in the area such as, for example, Plaia Grande at the beginning of the Irminio river nature reserve. Also worth visiting are the Baroque towns of Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Noto, all of which are quick and easy to reach by car.
The property is located inside a nursery specializing in the production of succulent and Mediterranean plants, surrounded by centuries-old carobs and beautiful cacti. On request, short training courses are available to learn more about the techniques and secrets of cultivating succulent and Mediterranean plants.

GROUND FLOOR: Living-room/kitchen/dining-room, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, mezzanine overlooking the day area and bedroom with two single beds that, where required, can be joined to form a double bed. Private furnished outdoor area in front of the apartment.
