Going north along the seafront, just over 10 kilometers from Catania, we come to Aci Castello. Whilst still maintaining its ancient origins, this little town has gradually become a prestigious seaside resort visited by many tourists. The town`s most characteristic feature is the XI century Norman Castle built on a ridge of lava overhanging the sea.
La Fragoletta is situated just over 1 Km from the village, along the coast in the direction of Catania, inside a small residential complex with sea views. The property is surrounded by a fenced garden with a private swimming pool at the back that can be heated and a solarium with loungers and deck chairs. The furnishings are modern and very comfortable. There is a very well-equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave, American coffee-maker and many other accessories. The bedrooms - one of which has a comfortable double sofa bed - are positioned on the first floor. There is air conditioning in every room and a washing machine. In front of the villa there are several restaurants, bars and pizzerias with the possibility of takeaway service. Several accesses to the sea and to bath establishments available at a walking distance of about 150 m from the property, entrance to be paid on site. Catania is around 10 Km away, Taormina 50. There are many excellent restaurants along the coast. We particularly recommend the seafront restaurants at Aci Castello.
