Delightful apartment located inside a residence consisting of 15 houses, located just 30 meters away from the sea at Castellammare del Golfo. From the house it is possible to access a small cove called La Campana which, despite being in the town, is reasonably peaceful, even during the high season, as it is not very well known. Access to the sea is via a private stairway reserved for guests staying at the residence. The shore has a pebbly beach and low rocks. This stretch of coast is suitable for scuba diving and rod fishing. The property is just a short distance away from the very central Piazza Petrolo, and the historic center of the old village and marina which has supermarkets, bars, pizzerias, a post office and banks all located within a radius of a few hundred meters. The apartment has an independent entrance and a veranda with patio offering sea views that is furnished with table, chairs and a barbecue. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and beach umbrella. The rooms are furnished in an “antique marine” style along with period pieces. The apartment also has a laundry room with washing machine and a parking space in a reserved area. The residence has a tennis court for guests.
Around 10 Km from Castellammare is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Sicily: the Zingaro nature reserve, which can be discovered entirely by foot and offers a mixture of cliffs and splendid coves. The archaeological area of Segesta is 20 minutes away by car. The cities of Palermo and Trapani are less than one hour’s drive away.
Accommodation (70 sq meters):
GROUND FLOOR: living-room/dining room with satellite TV and double sofa-bed, kitchen with microwave; larder; 1 bathroom with shower. There is also a beautiful cast iron wood burning stove.
FIRST FLOOR: accessed via an original wooden staircase mounted between stone walls and leading into a box-room with a practical wall wardrobe; 1 little double bedroom; 1 double bedroom leading onto a delightful little balcony with sea views; 1 bathroom with washbasin, WC and bidet (no shower). All the bedrooms have air conditioning (hot/cold).
Outdoors: furnished veranda with patio offering sea views.
Paid on site in cash: Using the sofa bed for 2 persons 70 €.
Late check-in after 22.00 € 25.
Extra change of bed linen and towels € 12 per person.
Extra cleaning of the house € 50. Electricity consumption, and air conditioning (hot / cold).
