The building in which these delightful apartments are located dates back to the second half of the 19th century. The current owner has recently carried out careful preservation and restoration work on the building which has enhanced the original structure. The apartments on the first two floors have vaulted ceilings decorated with pictorial period frescoes and Sicilian polychrome majolica flooring. The third floor apartment is a mansard with a beautiful panoramic terrace and a table for eating “al fresco”. These comfortable apartments have all the necessary amenities and are furnished using a mixture of modern and period pieces. Washing machine and tumble dryer provided in a communal area.
The building is situated in the old town center of Castellammare del Golfo, six hundred meters from the marina, the departure point for boat trips along the coast. Just a short walk away it is possible to find a variety of shops and excellent restaurants. The beautiful Plaja sandy beach is around 2 Km away. Scopello and the splendid Zingaro nature reserve are 10 Km away. Palermo, Trapani, San Vito lo Capo and the airports of Palermo and Trapani are all located within a 50 Km radius. The splendid archaeological site of Segesta is just 16 Km away.
