The existence of this villa has been documented since the XVIII century, but the current layout is the result of a transformation process that took place between 1870 and 1885, when the property belonged to a Sienese aristocrat living in Florence. In accordance with the spirit of renewal in taste and style that reigned in Florence at that time, he built a completely innovative villa and garden complex, creating a romantic park similar to those being built in Florence under the guidance of the architect Poggi and the family of Pucci gardeners.
The villa has three floors and the façade is divided into three parts; the central part has three entrance portals. The property has recently been renovated and provided with air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet connection. The furnishings consist of antiques of different styles and from different periods, precious wall hangings and ornaments of great artistic value.
Whilst preserving its beautiful period features, the old kitchen is very professional and has all the latest modern accessories.
The park covers an area of around three hectares and occupies a portion of sloping land in front of the villa that stretches to the south and to the west and is enclosed by a wall. It is divided into two parts: the first part consists of a flower garden situated on the higher ground, whereas the lower part, which includes a swimming pool for guests to use, with bathrooms and changing rooms, is a true romantic park with large wooded areas crossed by paths that suddenly open up to reveal stunning views of the Tuscan hills.
The water features are one of the particularly distinctive elements of the garden, consisting of several fountains, structures characterized by water play and, above all, the Nymphaeum, also known as `Venus` pool`. The park also has a large brick and cast iron aviary, a lemon orchard and a rich collection of large citrus trees.
The villa`s location in the Chianti countryside, just 9 Km from Siena, makes it a privileged and exclusive place. The villa is situated inside a large farm that produces excellent quality extra virgin olive oil and Chianti wine.

GROUND FLOOR: (access from the park or the reception hall): all the rooms are distributed around the monumental entrance and majestic marble staircase that leads upstairs.
Starting on the left, we find the dining room and the breakfast room; the snooker room with games table; 1 downstairs bathroom with washbasin and toilet; large professional kitchen; staff bathroom. Continuing along the corridor we come to the portrait gallery and then to the large living room with TV, fireplace and large full-length windows overlooking the garden, from which it is possible to access the beautiful “Giallo” (Yellow) living room and, further on, the music or mirror room, which has a piano and CD/DVD player.
FIRST FLOOR: (accessed via the marble staircase or the lift/elevator in the reception hall): the corridor that runs around the staircase leads to the various rooms. Large living room with sofas and armchairs; Suite Impero (Empire Suite), with double bedroom and communicating single bedroom that can also be accessed externally from the corridor, walk-in closet, 1 bathroom with whirlpool bath; Camera Barocca (Baroque Bedroom), double bedroom with wall closet and bathroom with bathtub; Camera Vittoriana (Victorian Bedroom), double bedroom with small living room, walk-in closet, and bathroom with bathtub; Camera Rococò (Rococo Bedroom), with twin beds, bathroom with bathtub; Camera Risorgimento (Risorgimento Bedroom), with twin beds, bathroom with shower. There is a bathroom for disabled guests in the corridor, with independent access.
The corridor also leads to the more rustic area, where the lift/elevator is situated. The Suite Neoclassica (Neoclassic Suite) is located here and consists of a double bedroom, living room/study and bathroom with bathtub.
SECOND FLOOR: (access using the lift/elevator or the convenient staircase): Suite Rinascimentale (Renaissance Suite), double bedroom, small living room/study and bathroom with bathtub.

Other services included in the price: Cleaning service during the week: 6 hours per day for 6 days a week with 25 sleeping accommodations. 4 hours a day for 6 days a week with 15 sleeping accommodations.
Paid on site in cash: Compulsory meal preparation service provided by the chef: buffet breakfast from 8.30 to 10.30 a.m.; family buffet lunch from 12.30 to 2.00 p.m.; buffet supper based on menu agreed with the chef, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. Cost of breakfast service - € 165. Cost of preparing supper or lunch - € 165 per meal. Possibility of table service at additional cost of € 100 per meal. The cost for a maximum of 20 guests included in the cost of the meal. Every extra guest, including children over 5 years old: € 10 per person per meal. The cost of purchasing food and beverages to be paid on site upon presentation of till receipts. Option of arranging procurement of supplies before arrival in order to fill the refrigerator with snacks, fruit, juice, mineral water etc. Upon arrival an advance payment of € 1,000 will be requested for initial purchases to be paid in cash.
