Meina is a delightful town on the Piedmontese bank of Lake Maggiore, just after the small town of Arona and before Lesa. From the XVIII century onwards the rediscovery of the enchanting beauty of Lake Maggiore and the growing fashion for aristocratic villas resulted in the construction of many prestigious residences – in fact the whole coast of Meina features a succession of villas and parks.
This area is particularly suitable for bathing and includes many large recreational sports facilities equipped to offer sailing courses. It is also surrounded by 8 golf courses, all of which are between 10 and 30 minutes away. Guests staying at the villa are offered a discount on green-fees, tee-time bookings and transport on request.
Villa Oleandro is situated in an extremely panoramic position, in the high part of the town (1 Km from the lake). It is set within a delightful enclosed garden with a private swimming pool (9 x 4.5 m) that offers beautiful views of the lake.
The villa has various mod cons: ADSL broadband internet connection, satellite TV, CD/DVD player, washing machine and dishwasher as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
On request it is possible to book a catering service or chef supported by a famous local restaurant which will be happy to offer guests staying at the villa a 10% discount on meals at lunch or supper time.
