The villa dates back to the 1700s when it was used as a country residence by noble families. It was modernized in the 1950s and extensively renovated in 2010, when the bathrooms and kitchen were redone and improvements made to the various systems and installations.
The furnishings respect the period and elegance of the villa which has all mod cons including central heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms, wi fi internet connection, a dishwasher and washing machine.
On the second floor, an independent entrance accessed by a staircase at the back of the villa leads to the caretakers’ apartment. The caretakers are responsible for maintaining the various services and looking after the garden and will provide assistance as required during your stay.
The outdoor area (around 6,000 sq. meters) is completely enclosed and includes the square in front of the villa with car park, a large, fully furnished terrace, a veranda with table and chairs for eating “al fresco”, a shady wood containing centuries-old holm oak trees and the swimming pool area, which has deckchairs and sun beds. The villa is 2 km from the town of Staggia, 5 Km from Monteriggioni, 21 Km from San Gimignano, 17 Km from Siena and 50 Km from Florence.
The villa is surrounded by places of great interest in terms of culture and landscape. It is possible to taste the local Chianti wines produced by the area’s many wineries, to get to know the various local gastronomic products and try them out in the many excellent restaurants to be found nearby.

FIRST FLOOR: living room with sofas, access to a balcony with a view of the hills and the Castle of Monteriggioni; on the right, 2 double bedrooms (beds: 170 cm), both with en suite bathroom, one with shower and the other with bathtub and shower; on the left, 1 double bedroom (bed: 160 cm.) and en suite bathroom with shower; a corridor leads to the other bedrooms: 1 double bedroom (bed: 160 cm.) and en suite bathroom with shower; 1 bedroom with twin beds (beds: 90 cm.) and 1 double bedroom (bed: 140 cm:) sharing 1 bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms have independently regulated air conditioning.
Other services included in the price: Cleaning during the week 3 hours, 3 times per week for a total of 9 hours per week.
Paid on site in cash: Electricity consumption of up to 300 KW per week is included in the price. Consumption in excess of 300 KW will be charged at the end of the stay at a cost of € 0.30 per KW.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
