The hills around S. Alessio are famous for being one of the most exclusive areas in the vicinity of Lucca, a city which, to this day, has maintained the elegance of its artistic heritage. Villa Allegra is situated at the top of a gentle hill, in a very panoramic position with a 180° view that offers a glimpse of the city of Lucca on the left.
This 18th century villa is furnished with antiques and great care has been paid to every detail. It is a house that has been built to ensure complete serenity.
The external veranda, with its beautiful views, can be accessed from the living room and kitchen. The perfume of the flowers enhances the pleasure of relaxing outside, maybe reading a book in the company of a glass of good wine, enjoying the sensations of times gone by.
The villa has satellite TV, stereo system, washing machine and dishwasher. The domestic staff live in a small annex near the entrance gate. A second annex, with independent external access, situated on the opposite side of the villa, is occasionally used by the owners.
The land around the villa is well tended, with fruit trees, a small vineyard and a vegetable garden. The swimming pool (6 x 12 m) is partly hidden by a hedge to ensure complete privacy.
The geographical position is extremely convenient: the beaches of Forte dei Marmi are 35 Km away, Florence is 80 Km away and Lucca just 6 Km away. A one hour car journey will take you to the Cinque Terre.
One feature that should not be forgotten is the local food and wine: the typical cuisine of Lucca with its wonderful, tempting flavours.

GROUND FLOOR: access from park; large double living room with sofa/TV area and piano area; dining room; characteristic kitchen with wood burning oven, dishwasher, oven; larder with refrigerator; washing-ironing room with washing machine; 1 guest bathroom; large covered panoramic veranda furnished as a dining area and living room.
FIRST FLOOR: access room; 1 large double bedroom with third bed in alcove, en suite bathroom with shower and access to large panoramic terrace; 1 small double bedroom, external bathroom with shower.
SECOND FLOOR: large living room with piano and stereo system; 1 double bedroom, en suite bathroom with bathtub, walk-in wardrobe; 1 double bedroom, en suite bathroom with shower.
Other services included in the price: Cleaning during the week 3 hours, 6 times per week for a total of 18 hours per week. Bathroom linen changed twice a week
Paid on site in cash: Preparation of continental breakfast: € 12.00 per person per day. Preparation of supper: €25/40 per person per day according to the menu.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
Cots for babies under 2 yrs: Cot with bars available: free of charge.
