Cascina San Pietro is situated just a few hundred meters from the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, halfway between Florence and Siena and in the heart of the always enchanting and surprising territory of the Chianti, near a wooded grove and surrounded by a large garden, where the intense fragrance of lavender mixes with the delicate fragrance of roses. Leaving the ancient Via Cassia you take a small road (which at the end leads to an ancient Parish) and immediately afterwards you find a gate leading to the property, which is the result of the attentive and skilful restoration work of a typical farmhouse and a former hayloft. The Cortile and Piccionaia apartments are located in the farmhouse (where the reception office is also located and where the guests, if they wish, can find polite assistance every day and advice for their holiday) and 4 others in the Hayloft. Each apartment has its own private outdoor area, equipped for eating outdoors. Shared among the apartments is the old farmyard and a pretty swimming pool of 8x16 m located in the middle of a lawn surrounded by flowering shrubs. Each apartment has its own unique charm, a result of the preservation of the architectural elements typical of traditional country residences (terracotta floors, visible ceiling beams) and the elegant and cosy furnishings. The warm shades of the fabrics and the walls matching the various areas, care of the details and the sober elegance of the furnishings, combined with the convenience of all the comforts offered (air conditioning in all the bedrooms, satellite TV, dishwasher and washing machine in each apartment), create a warm and cosy atmosphere that is truly enchanting.

FIRST FLOOR: entrance from the stairway shared with the reception office: living-room with fireplace and satellite TV, arch open to the kitchen with dining table (oven, dishwasher) and wooden spiral stairway that leads to 1 twin bedroom. On the left of the living-room: 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom, 1 large bathroom with shower and washing machine.
Other services included in the price: Cleaning on Saturday for bookings of more than a week. Concierge service.
Paid on site in cash: Firewood for the fireplaces: €10 a day. Extra services on request (taxi hire, bike hire, guided tours). Central heating € 1.5 per unit. Cookery courses € 90 per person (minimum 4 people).
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
Cots for babies under 2 yrs: Cot with bars available: free of charge.
