Villa il Parco is a lovingly restored 18th century villa with private pool that
is ideal for families, groups of friends, reunions and weddings. The villa gets
its name from its beautiful 6 acre park of spacious green lawns and well
maintained gardens. Located in the foothills of Asolo in the center of the
Veneto, it is an easy hour’s drive to the sea, to Venice, and to the Dolomite
mountain range. The Veneto is remarkable for its beauty, cuisine, art, Palladian
villas and historical art cities.

The nearby town of Maser is known for its splendid villas and can be reached by
foot. Also within easy striking distance is the beautiful medieval town of
Asolo where Robert Browing lived (10 kilometers). Bassano del Grappa is home to
the famous grappa liqueur and is charming with its narrow streets, shops and a
famous covered wooden bridge (18 kilometers). Other towns within easy daytrip
distance are Treviso (30km) Padova (50 km) and Venice (50km).
The owners have taken great care in restoring the villa. The furnishing are
comfortable and in an authentic style. They are splendid gardeners and the
villa grounds and garden have been featured in many Italian garden magazines.
The owners are happy to arrange cooking lessons and visits to local wineries
with advance notice.
Villa il Parco spans three floors. The rental for 8 guests comprises the “main
wing” – the ground floor and first floor (four bedrooms/5 ½ bathrooms).
A separate apartment on the second floor with independent rear entrance allows
for larger groups. The “mini” studio apartment accommodates 2 guests (1
bedroom/1 bathroom)
The “maxi” apartment sleeps 6 guests (3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms).
These apartments are rented only in conjunction with the villa and will not be
occupied by other guests when the villa is rented.
The owner’s residence is located in the “Barchessa” which is between the front
gate and the villa. They have a friendly dog, however Villa il Parco is not
appropriate for anyone allergic to or afraid of dogs. There is parking for
four cars. This is a non smoking villa.
A note: As with all in-town houses, the sound of people and traffic could be
heard. The state road is located behind the villa. Once inside the beautiful
garden, the feeling is calm and peaceful. Only two bedrooms in the villa have
windows that face the road and they both have triple pane glass.

Ground floor: entrance hall, study room, TV with DVD room, formal dining
room (10/12 people); the “Spanish” red room, that leads to a charming pergola,
second dining room (16 people), half bathroom, kitchen with oven, microwave,
dishwasher, refrigerator, gas range, oven, freezer, coffee maker; laundry with
washing machine and iron. One bathroom with shower next to the kitchen.
First floor (16 stairs)
4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
One double bedrooms with king size bed with en suite bathroom with bathtub and
handheld shower head.
One twin bedroom (beds cannot be joined) plus an extra bed with en suite
bathroom with bathtub and handheld shower head.
Two twin bedrooms with bed that can be fitted as double, each one has an en
suite bathroom with bath
Mini studio apartment - 55 square meters (2 guests - 1 bedroom/1 bathroom)
The apartment can be rented to sleep two in one room with a twin/double bed,
kitchenette with microwave, and bathroom with shower.
Maxi apartment - 160 square meters: (6 guests - 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms)
The apartment can also be rented to sleep 6 in three twin/double bedrooms, 2
bathrooms (one with tub and one with shower), large living room, dining table
for 6, kitchen with oven, microwave, and washing machine.

Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in
the price, changed weekly.
Cots for babies under 2 yrs: 100 euros per week.
Extra bed: 150 euros

Final cleaning: 200 euros (8 guests), 250 euros (10 guests), 250 euros
(14-16 guests)
Security deposit: 700 euros (8 guests), 1000 euros (10-16 guests) - paid
to the owner
Utility deposit for heating (seasonal):

Heating: Charged according to usage
Electricity: Included
Internet access (available in main villa): 40 euros per week
Late arrival: Upon request a late arrival between 7pm and 9pm may
be arranged for a fee of 50 euros.
Available upon request: Baby sitting, cook service, transfer, extra maid
service, laundry.
