Villa Antimo is a large, stone farmhouse located about 2 km from Castelnuovo dell`Abate, a small village lying just 9 km from Montalcino, famous for the splendid Romanesque abbey of Sant`Antimo. This entire part of the province of Siena is particularly well-known for its vineyards which produce Brunello di Montalcino, one of the most sought-after Italian wines. The renovation of the villa has been done very carefully, both in the choice of materials used, and for the way they have respected the old Tuscan traditions. The project envisioned maintaining the old look of the building while equipping the villa with every possible modern comfort. The valuable furnishings are mostly classic 19th century, together with modern comforts like air-conditioning in the bedrooms, a sauna with Turkish bath system, an outside Jacuzzi for 6 people, an office with PC and internet connection, telephone and professional kitchen suitable for cooking courses. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with hydromassage bathtub, and on the ground floor there is a bedroom with a bathroom suitable for the disabled. In the large outside area guests have at their disposal a dining-area, sun-bathing area and the private 6x12m swimming-pool. Siena is 55 km away and Florence 125 km.

Accommodation (580 sq meters):
GROUND FLOOR: entrance, two connected living-rooms with large fireplace, dining-room, professional kitchen with larder and WC, office with PC and internet connection, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower for the disabled, sauna with turkish bath system and dressing-room and 2 bathrooms with shower.
FIRST FLOOR: large box-room, 5 double bedrooms with hydromassage bath-tub, 1 twin bedroom with hydromassage bath-tub. Large private outside areas with Jacuzzi for 6 people and swimming-pool.
Other services included in the price: Bath-linen: twice a week. A visit to the wine-cellars of the vineyard, wine-tasting with tasting of salumi made from Cinta Senese produced by the farm and local cheeses. The farm buildings are about 1 km from the villa, and the tasting usually happens on a Monday, but this can be decided when you get there.
Paid on site in cash: Obligatory cleaning during the week: 3 hours a day, 5 days per week for a total of 200 EUROS per week. The cleaning during the week is done by the staff at hours to be agreed, and the staff look after the garden and clean the pool. The staff do not live on the premises, so the hours to be agreed must be between 9.00 in the morning and 4.00 in the afternoon. It is possible to organize dinners prepared by a well-known local cook, and the cost of the dinner varies between Euro 40 and Euro 50 per person excluding wine. If you want the service for the whole week, you can arrange an overall price which varies between Euro 2000 and Euro 2500, wine excluded.
