Palazzo Barocco, dating to the late eighteenth century, is situated in the old town centre of Scicli, a gem of Sicilian Baroque in the district of Ragusa. The palazzo is located in a picturesque street in the oldest part of the city; it has recently been beautifully renovated and transformed into a splendid structure for hospitality equipped with the most modern comforts. The decor has also been designed with the utmost care and taste, with a blend of local, French and North African styles. A swimming pool located on the first floor in the central area of the palazzo can be used in all weather conditions in view of an ingenious sliding glass structure. The swimming pool is equipped with underwater music, chromotherapy and counter-current swimming facilities. Guests also have at their disposal large panoramic and fully-equipped terraces situated on a number of levels, boasting stupendous views over the old town centre and all the most important monuments. The most famous beaches of the coast are just a few minutes away by car (5 kms), while the most important Baroque cities such as Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla are in a radius of between 10 and 40 kms.
Scicli, which has been included in the Unesco world heritage list, is located in the south of the province of Ragusa, 5 kms from the sea, and boasts long summers and mild winters.
