In the countryside north of Rome, the Tevere river meanders through some charming hills until it opens into a sort of natural amphitheater in the area called Sabina, guardian of the ancient splendor that was the great Latin civilization. This area, due to the characteristics of the countryside and its mild climate, has been inhabited and cultivated since ancient times: and here you can see the archaeological remains of many roman country villas (which were actually ancient farmsteads), along with small medieval villages, castles and monasteries. Here, in an atmosphere of times gone by, among cultivated valleys of vineyards and olive groves, and hills covered in woods, with an enviable panorama over the surrounding countryside, stands Villa dei due Pini, a lovely building with interesting architectural features: it lies in grounds that have been elegantly cared for, including a wonderful little lake with exotic plants and a large swimming-pool with an original half-moon shape. In every part of the property you can feel a classy, refined atmosphere, both outside in the grounds which have been embellished by antique statues, and in the interiors furnished by the owners, experts and art-collectors, who have filled the rooms with antique furniture and paintings with perfect taste. This atmosphere, which you can find only in the most refined Italian country houses, guarantees the guests of the villa the pleasure of an exclusive holiday, to be savored in the natural and historic surroundings, with romantic country walks and particularly interesting sightseeing including art treasures and local culture. Rome is just a short distance away - a little less than an hour by car, or by a convenient railway journey, and both Tuscany and Umbria, with all their artistic treasures, can be reached in a couple of hours. Villa dei Pini also has all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable: satellite-TV with DVD player, stereo with CD player, dishwasher, laundry with washing-machine, telephone with internet access, air-conditioning in three of the bedrooms and in a living-room, jacuzzi, sauna in the swimming-pool annex (opposite on a terracing lower than the house).

FIRST FLOOR: 3 large, communicating living-rooms (the largest one has air-conditioning), all of which have french windows opening onto the grounds, 1 walk-through studio leading to the bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 small bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi-tub.
SECOND FLOOR: (mansard with low ceiling in a few places): 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower.
SWIMMING-POOL ANNEX: living-room with kitchenette, and divan-fouton for 2 people, 1 single bedroom with small terrace, 1 bathroom with shower. Adjoining dressing-room, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 shower, 1 sauna.
Paid on site in cash: Obligatory cleaning during the week: 2 hours a day, 6 days per week for a total of 180 Euros per week. Weekly consumption of electricity above 350 KW. Extra cleaning hours: euro 15 per hour. Telephone: according to use.
