The villa is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the Chianti Classico area, half-way between Florence and Siena, which are both about 30 minutes away by car. From the large entrance gate you come into the private car-park within a nice italian garden, where on one side you will find an irregular-shaped swimming-pool (8x16m). The interiors are typical of the old aristocratic villas with attractive vaulted ceilings and frescoed walls. The furnishings are of a very high standard and are mostly antiques.
Outside there is a balcony, which can be accessed from two bedrooms, running along almost the entire length of the villa, and from here you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the tuscan countryside. The villa is equipped with dishwasher, washing-machine and dryer, two safe-deposit boxes, telephone, broadband internet connection, barbecue and private parking. Close by you will also find some very good restaurants offering excellent, authentic tuscan cuisine. The attractive town of San Donato in Poggio, which has shops and restaurants, is about 2 kms distant, and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa is about 6 kms away and has a well-stocked supermarket and all other services you might need.
