The villa stands on a rise above the village, which is just 400 metres away, on the promontory of the Sorrento Peninsula, which separates the Gulf of Naples from the Gulf of Salerno, in a panoramic position with a view of the sea. The village is known for the presence of some famous restaurants and you will find all kinds of shops there. Palazzo del Golfo, thanks to its large rooms, can also be used for cerimonies or anniversaries. The interior is furnished with excellent quality classic furniture, and is equipped with many comforts: air-conditioning, a large, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and ovens, telephone, broadband internet connection, satellite-TV and mini-fridge in the rooms, safe deposit-box, lift to the upper floors. The external area is over 20,000 sq.m., has a beautiful garden with centuries-old trees and relaxation areas, an exclusive 8x12m swimming-pool with hydromassage, sun-bathing area and view of the sea, a tennis court, parking area and a large area suitable for landing a helicopter. It lies about 7 kms from the beach at Marina del Cantone, in the bay of Nerano, where you can hire boats or go subaqua diving. Sorrento is 7 kms away, Positano 25 kms, and the archaeological remains at Pompei are 35 kms away. On request you can order a cooking service and transfers from Naples airport or for day trips.

Accommodation (1000 sq meters):
On the ground floor are three large salons, elegantly furnished and decorated in classical style. In the first salon is a comfortable living-room with a large, antique fireplace. The second salon is furnished with dining-tables and has access to the garden. The third salon is used as a breakfast room. Next to the living-room are two large completely equipped kitchens, with a wood-burning oven for preparing pizzas, a large fridge with freezer, microwave oven, a coffee machine, and a dishwasher. On the ground floor there are also four bathrooms and a laundry with washing-machine. The sleeping area consists of ten double bedrooms, which are distributed on the first floor (5) and second floor (5), while the 11th bedroom is on the attic floor. All of the floors communicate with each other via a lift. All of the bedrooms have bathrooms inside, eight of the bedrooms have bathrooms with hydromassage bathtubs and shower, whereas the remaining three have hydromassage showers. All of the bedrooms have access to a private balcony or to a terrace furnished with table and chairs, overlooking the garden or the sea. Four bedrooms have a small living-room with a double sofa-bed. All of the rooms have a TV, a mini-fridge, telephone, safe deposit-box. The largest and most romantic of the bedrooms has been made under the roof: it has a large living-room with a table, chairs and sofa, as well as a large bathroom with bathtub and hydromassage shower. From the bedroom there is access to a spacious furnished terrace (30 sq.m.) with living area and hydromassage tub and a splendid view over the sea and the coast. An external stair leads to the house belvedere, which is above the mansard, where you can enjoy a 360° view of the Gulf of Salerno as far as Capri and the Gulf of Naples.
Other services included in the price: Cleaning during the week 4 hours, 6 times per week for a total of 24 hours per week. Buffet breakfast (continental) which will be served every day between 8:00 and 11:00. Bathlinen change 6 times a week. Bedlinen change twice a week. Computer in the living-room with internet connection.
