Above the property is a beautiful swimming pool of 4x10 meters with salt purification system and solar-heated outdoor shower. To the side of the house there is also a wood-fired oven for pizzas. The village of Barberino has food shops and restaurants. There are all kinds of shops in Poggibonsi which is 8 Km away. Florence and Siena can be reached in about 20 minutes by car, whereas the beautiful towers of San Gimignano are just 15 Km away. Nearby there are many wonderful places to visit, such as the ancient church of Pieve di S. Appiano, Borgo di Linari, the romantic castle of Poppiano, the farm of Petrognano and, particularly interesting, the Cappella di S. Michele Arcangelo built in 1597 which replicates the dome of Florence Cathedral on a scale of 1:8.

The kitchen leads directly into a furnished courtyard and the garden.
