Chianti is like an enormous landscape in a work of art: the territory between Siena and Florence, with its beautiful hills and wonderful landscape, sculpted magically through the centuries by the harmonious interaction between the work of man and of nature, is now undoubtedly one of the most famous areas in the world. And that`s as it should be: the area is a continuous succession of medieval villages, castles, churches, farmhouses and monastries in a hilly landscape alternating vineyards, olive groves and woods, creating a unique harmony, capable of enchanting and taking by surprise even the most sophisticated visitor, attracted by the peace and quiet and by the elegant warmth of the hospitality here. Villa Tabernulae presents a perfect opportunity for immersing oneself in the Chianti life-style: it`s a centuries-old farmhouse at the heart of a large farming estate producing an excellent olive-oil, and lying exactly half-way between Florence and Siena, in a green oasis surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, vineyards and cypress trees in an unforgettable landscape. It has been renovated with the aim of providing truly excellent hospitality: the use of traditional materials, the old fireplaces and the warm, elegant and comfortable furnishings of old tuscan tradition coupled with a regard for the finer details and for the maximum comfort of guests. The entire house is equipped with air-conditioning, and all of the rooms have bar/fridge, safe deposit-box satellite-TV, telephone and internet connection Wi-Fi. Besides the main kitchen with its large dining area, the house offers several living areas and 3 more kitchens. At the lower level a health centre has been installed (open from 9-18 except Sundays) with sauna, massage table, gym area and a marvellous heated hydromassage tub with large panoramic windows, framing the wonderful surrounding countryside. There are lots of leafy areas for staying outside, a patio furnished for dining outside, relaxation areas, and above all a magnificent swimming-pool with hydromassage and waterfall, with a view of the hills as far as the horizon. The management, who speak english, have a small office with separate entrance on the ground floor and can offer various services: airport transfers, guided tours, bookings for restaurants and museums, massages and facials, cooking courses, and the organization of lunches and dinners, which are served in a rustic room with fireplace inside an ex-haybarn or in the open air in the threshing area - a discreet and attentive organization to complete an unforgettable holiday for recharging the batteries.

GROUND FLOOR: entrance into a living-room with fireplace, then on the left: living-room with kitchen area and access to the outside, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath-tub (Casetta), 1 bathroom with shower; on the right: kitchen (main kitchen) and large living-room with dining-area and access to the furnished patio, 1 WC with wash-basin and stairs to the first floor. With separate entrance: reception office.
FIRST FLOOR: Corridor: immediately on your right: door leading to a large living-room with dining-table and fireplace and niche with small kitchen and stair leading to the tower, games room with internet connection and terrace and another stair leading to the entrance, access room with sofa, 3 double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom with shower, from the access room a stair leads to a loft with a small bathroom with shower (this is the bathroom for the bedroom in the tower), and from the living-room a stair leads to the TOWER, where there is a double bedroom. Also facing onto the corridor, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with hydromassage bath-tub, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with loft with sofa-bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, then some steps lead down to 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with en-suite hydromassage shower and terrace.

Paid on site in cash: Central heating consumption: € 4 per cubic meter. Air conditioning € 0.50 per kw.. Wood for fireplaces: € 10 per basket. Extra cleaning service (€16/hour); additional linen changes, bed linen and towels: € 15 per bedroom; towels only: € 8 per bedroom. Preparation of breakfast, lunch and supper: breakfast € 12/person per day; supper with typical Tuscan menu € 35/60 per person according to the menu selected (excluding wine ).
