This is one of the most authentic villas in the Lucca area, going back to the 17th century, and has preserved the refinement and elegance of that historical period. The owners live in the house during the winter, but leave all of the precious furnishings in the villa when it is given over to guests. Antique furniture, paintings and 18th century objects along with luxurious materials and curtains. The grounds, which are completely enclosed, are shaped by paths bordered with flowerbeds, scented rose-gardens and tall trees, and in the upper part is a 6x14m swimming-pool, well-equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs, shower and gazebo. Beyond the grounds there is also a property with over 20 hectacres of olive trees. The villa has satellite-TV, stereo with CD player, broad-band internet connection, laundry and domestic staff who, besides cleaning the house can also prepare you lunch or dinner. The villa lies about 6 kms from the centre of Lucca and from the entrance to the motorway which leads to Florence (75 kms) or to the versilian coast (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi) 35 kms away. The airport at Pisa is about 18 kms away. Lucca and its area offer may cultural and sightseeing attractions along with the regions gastronomic traditions and the DOC wines produced in the Montecarlo area.

GROUND FLOOR: entrance, three large and comfortable living-rooms, dining-room, double bedroom with four-poster bed (160 cm wide by 200 long) with bathroom and small dressing-room. SECOND FLOOR: twin bedroom (beds 90 cm x 200) with bathroom and small dressing-room, double bedroom (160cm x 195 bed) with bathroom and dressing-room, living-room, bedroom/study with 2 single beds, fridgebar, satellite-TV, CD player, fax, broadband internet connection, master double bedroom with large bed (190cm x 200), bathroom and large dressing-room with cupboards. LOWER FLOOR: very well-equipped kitchen, dining-room, WC with washbasin, laundry and wine-cellar. It is possible to have an additional bed in one of the bedrooms.
Other services included in the price: Cleaning during the week 8 hours, 6 times per week for a total of 48 hours per week. Part-time cook for the preparation of one of the two main meals (guest`s choice) except on Sundays.
