Casa Blu lies close to the village of Scopello, 3 kms from the sea in a panoramic position, dominating the gulf of Castellammare and the hill called Monte Inici. The house has all the style of the old sicilian country houses, with antique roof tiles, ceramic sicilian bricks from the XVIIIth century, terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings, and in the garden is a large, centuries-old carob tree. You reach the house along a partly untarred road that runs alongside the slopes of Monte Sparacio. The further you go along this road, the more you enter into a Sicily from times gone by, the Sicily of farmers and shepherds, with olive trees and cactuses as the main vegetation. For lovers of scuba-diving there is a specialist centre in the nearby village of Scopello which organizes trips to the nearby underwater nature reserve called `Riserva marittima dello Zingaro`. We can particularly recommend a holiday in Casa Blu for those who want a combination of the comfort of a beautiful house with relaxation in wonderful, silent countryside, along with trips to Segesta with its temple from the 5th century B.C. and its greek theatre, to the medieval village of Erice, to the beach at S. Vito Lo Capo, to the salt pits at Marsala, to the dancing satyr at Mazara del Vallo, to Agrigento and to Palermo.

Casa Blu is equipped with air-conditioning in the bedrooms, a masonry barbecue, washing-machine, stereo with CD player, satellite-TV with Sky, and private 6x3m swimming-pool.
