This is an old farmhouse lying between Modica and Frigintini that dominates a wide stretch of olive trees and carobs, a peaceful place that a well-known sicilian artist has restored with love and with her own artistic style. The farmhouse consists of two buildings: the first and larger building is for guests, the other one is occasionally used by the owners. The garden is enclosed on one side by a wall in local stone, and on the other it looks over the countryside, and is characterized by a long, 21 metre, irregular-shaped swimming-pool, with a large paved farmyard and green spaces with olive and palm trees, and is all perfectly blended in with its natural surroundings. In the upper part is an area where you can land by helicopter. The interiors have been created with refined taste harmonising both antique and modern furniture. The house is equipped with satellite TV, stereo with CD player, dishwasher, washing-machine, barbecue. The village of Frigintini is about 2 kms away and has all the services you might need, including some excellent restaurants, while Modica lies about 8 kms away. Many attractive sicilian towns are within easy reach: Scicli 19 kms, Ispica 25 kms, Ragusa 22, Noto 30 - places where the late baroque architecture has bequeathed us some of its best treasures. The sea is also within easy reach, Pozzallo is 30 kms away, Marina di Ragusa 35 kms, and the nature reserve at Vendicari is about 50 kms away.

GROUND FLOOR: large living-room, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with bath-tub and shower, large suite with double bed and bathroom with shower, 1 walk-through room with open loft with a double bed, 1 bathroom with shower, kitchen with dishwasher with external access linked to the house by a large, covered veranda furnished with tables and chairs.
Paid on site in cash: Obligatory cleaning during the week: 2 hours a day, 4 days per week for a total of 100 EUROS per week.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
