The landscape of the Amalfi coast is characterized by the marriage of the sea and the mountainside, and is full of little inlets and bays, like the splendid Emerald Grotto in Conca dei Marini and the Fjord of Furore.
Il Corallo is nestled among some of the most beautiful bays on the coast: between the beach of the Praia and the Fjord of Furore, halfway between Positano and Amalfi. What makes this villa special is its position and the easy access to both the villa and the sea. The environment here is unique. The luxurious garden that encircles the villa is filled with citrus groves and bougainvillea, which grow all along the tree-lined walk-ways that access the villa and the sea, creating a pleasantly shady area that together with the sea breeze makes this property and its location a marvellous place to be even on the hottest of summer days.
The villa was built on various levels following the natural landscape of the area and was designed in such a way that all the rooms face the sea, giving you the sensation of being on a ship. Off the living area, which consists of the kitchen, breakfast room and living room, there is a large covered terrace that is furnished for dining `al fresco` as well as an additional sun-bathing area. Each of the bedrooms, which are located on the upper floor, has its own private panoramic balcony with a romantic view of the sea and the medieval tower that dominates the beach of Praia. Recommended visits within walking distance of the villa:
- The beach of Marina di Praia is located 1 km in the direction of Praiano. It is one of the rare beaches that can be reached by car, and has pay parking facilities. It is a romantic place to spend an enchanting evening amidst seaside restaurants and entertainment venues. Here you will find a characteristic footpath carved into the cliffs overlooking the sea, similar to the famous Road of Love of the Cinque.
- the suggestive Fiordo di Furore located 1 km in the direction of Amalfi. The fjord is crossed by a 28-metre-high bridge where acrobatic diving competitions are held every year (in July).
