Maratea is a corner of paradise just south of the Campania region, down the coast below Amalfi and Cilento, an oasis offering a stretch of coastline of rare and evocative beauty, with rich vegetation all the way down to the sea and a long succession of inlets and sandy beaches. The attractive old town of Maratea lies on the summit of a hill, is full of old traditions and customs and is a pleasant surprise for visitors. The harbour area is also well-equipped even for particularly large recreational boats. Also on the sea-front, the village of Fiumicello is the best-equipped tourist area and has all kinds of services. Villa La Matrella lies about 2 kms from Fiumicello and about 200 metres from the beach at Macarro, in a very quiet and panoramic position. It is surrounded by a nice, enclosed garden that looks over the sea, with large shady areas and rich mediterranean vegetation. Inside, the villa has excellent quality furniture and finishings, and the recent renovation has maintained intact all of the original architectural features. The bathrooms are modern, and the kitchen is well-equipped and ideal for those who like cooking. On the outside there is a large patio furnished for dining outside and a barbecue. In the area there are many restaurants offering the typical local cuisine, and at Fiumicello, in the Hotel Santa Venere, guests may use the facilities of the health centre which is open to outsiders. Salerno is about 150 kms away and Naples 210.

FIRST FLOOR: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with tub, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower. SECOND FLOOR: 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 single bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 bathroom with shower. Large enclosed garden with furnished patio and view of the sea.
Paid with the rental fee: Obligatory cleaning during the week: 4 hours a day, 2 days per week for a total of 80 EUROS per week. Final cleaning 200 Euro
