Il Frantoio is an attractive old farmhouse in the hills above Taormina, which has been completely renovated both inside and out, and in the living/dining room they have left intact the old olive-crushing machines, incorporating them into the furnishings of the house; and together with the big fireplace, which is still in use, they have created an exceptionally warm and pleasant atmosphere. Air-conditioning has been installed, along with heating supplied by heat-pumps, satellite TV and microwave oven. The furnishings are country-style, augmented by some Sicilian antique pieces, and the house has all the conveniences you might need to make your holiday unforgettable. Outside they have built a private swimming-pool (5.5 x 11m), placed on panoramic terracing in the large enclosed garden, with centuries-old olive trees and typical Mediterranean plants. The outside area includes an area furnished for dining outside with barbecue and a large panoramic terrace with a view of the sea, and the house lies in a particularly quiet and private spot. Il Frantoio can be reached via Giardini Naxos, which is 1.5 km away, or from Taormina - 4 km away, whereas Catania, which can easily be reached via the convenient motorway with its exit at Giardini Naxos, is 43 km away. This would be a very comfortable house for couples or for a family with children who want to enjoy a very quiet holiday close to Taormina and the beautiful beaches at Isola Bella or at Mazzarò.

GROUND FLOOR: entrance, kitchen with washing-machine, down 5 steps into the large living/dining room with fireplace and double sofa-bed, and which still preserves the old olive-crushing machinery; 1 double bedroom accessed via four wooden steps, 1 bathroom with bath-tub. Private enclosed garden and terrace with view of the sea. ANNEX (next to the house with independent access): 1 large double bedroom with single sofa-bed (suitable for a child) and bathroom with shower. Private parking inside the grounds.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price. Possibility of renting bed and bath linen on request when booking to be paid on the premises: price per person and per change 8 EUROS
