independent house with private swimming pool enjoys an enviable hilltop
position with expansive views of the Umbrian countryside. Day
trips
across Umbria are within easy grasp and Rome and Florence can be
reached in a
little more than two hours by train from a station located
approximately 10 km
from the house. Pianello is the closest town at one kilometer and has
grocery shops, two restaurants, post office, bank and other helpful services.

Villa
Clare
measures 120 square meters in size and works very nicely for two
couples or a
family. It also works well for elderly
visitors or those with walking concerns since the house is on one level
and has
few stairs. The house accommodates
up
to seven people in two queen bedded rooms and one bedroom with a
contemporary
and unique bunk bed that has a double mattress on the bottom level and
single
mattress above. There are two
bathrooms (one shower). The kitchen is
noteworthy as it is completely new and the owner is a kitchen
manufacturer by
profession. He greets guests with a
welcome drink at his agriturismo down the hill and personally accompanies them
to Villa Clare to check them in and make sure they are comfortable.
Furnishings for the house have been personalized by the owner in a mix of rustic
and modern style.
Guests
of
Villa Clare also have at their disposal an outdoor garden with tables
and
chairs providing a lovely place for “al fresco” dinners. A large
swimming
pool (15x7 meters) and an attached children’s pool were built for the 2009 season. There is also a changing room,
bathroom
and shower located under the pool making it easy to relax by the
pool.
Entrance:The
main
floor opens into a large living lounge room with television. Arched windows and wooden beams feature into
the architecture presenting pleasant views onto the garden. The new kitchen is fully equipped with
stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
Additionally
there are two queen bedded rooms, one bedroom with
bunk beds (double mattress and single mattress), one bathroom with
shower, one bathroom with sink and toilet (no shower or tub).
There is a washing machine in this bathroom.
Ironing facilities, a cot and a child’s
highchair are all also included. The house has independent
heating.
