Casale Farneto is a
classic Italian apartment located near
one of the most beloved areas of Italy, St. Francis’ Assisi. It
is part
of a typical hamlet just below the sweet town of Sterpeto.
This accommodation offers a good sense of
privacy and works wonderfully for a couple or three adults.
On one side, it is attached to stone building where another
owner
occasionally resides. It is located on
the end so opens up to the countryside and has a garden and
expansive view. Additionally, a swimming
pool for
the exclusive use of Casale Farneto guests will be ready for next
summer. It will sit in a panoramic
position
surrounded by the owner’s olive orchard.
At last count, he has 350 trees!
The
location of Casale Farneto allows easy access not only to Assisi and
Perugia
but also to many other characteristic Umbrian towns such as Gubbio,
Todi,
Spello and Spoleto. From the
railway
station in S. Maria degli Angeli (7 kms away) it is possible to reach
both
Florence and Rome by train. This trip
takes about 2 to 2 ½ hours.
Casale
Farneto (55 square meters) sleeps up to three guests in two
bedrooms. The
apartment has three floors, all of which are connected by a
characteristic
wooden spiral staircase. Because of the three levels, we do not
recommend
Casale Farneto for children or people with walking difficulties. The
furnishings of the apartment are comfortable and in Umbrian rustic
style.

The
ground
floor of the apartment consists of a living room and sitting area,
TV/DVD/Radio
player, a dining area, a bathroom with sink and toilet, and a kitchen
area
nicely equipped with stove, refrigerator, oven and dishwasher.
The top floor is accessed by 14 internal
steps. Here there are the two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and
balcony
and one single bedroom. There is also a bathroom with
shower.
The
basement is down 13 internal stairs from the ground floor, and houses
the
laundry room and washing machine.
Parking
is
directly in front of the house or to the side of the house down a
fairly steep
driveway.
Casale
Farneto is equipped with an independent air conditioning/heating
system,
washing machine and ironing facilities, garden furniture and
barbecue.
Only small pets are allowed.
