appreciated from the swimming pool (complete with sundeck, loungers and
umbrellas) the garden and from first floor bedrooms.
La Selva possesses the endearing features of a traditional Umbrian farmhouse:
terracotta tiled floors, wood beamed ceilings and exposed brick arches which,
combined with tasteful furniture, create a welcoming retreat.
This is truly a tranquil
hideaway, a place to appreciate the peace of the Umbrian countryside. however,
you are not too far from village life. A small shop, bar and restaurant can be
found in the closest town (a 10 minute drive). The villa is reached by approximately 2 km of unpaved road in good condition. The medieval hill town of Todi is at 10 km. Here you can wander the twisting cobblestone streets, take in the
medieval ambiance and enjoy a cappuccino in one of the sidewalk cafes. A full
variety of services such as banks, post office, restaurants, shops and
supermarkets can be found in Todi.
La Selva is spacious at 200 sq meters. It has four bedrooms and three
bathrooms and works very nicely for a family or group of friends. Three of the
bedrooms are air conditioned.
The house has been furnished in a simple and comfortable style and the French
doors on the ground floor open up directly to the outside. Guests can enjoy the
garden, the outdoor fireplace/barbecue and the covered patio which is nicely
furnished for al fresco dining.
Maid service is available upon request as is a typical Umbrian dinner
