Set in the charming village of San Siro and only 1 km from the gorgeous shores
of Lake Como, Villa La Cava is a cozy independent villa sleeping up to 8
people. The villa benefits from a new restoration just completed in 2008. It
measures 90 square meters in size, is tastefully furnished and is completely
private.

Located at about 400 meters (walking) and 1 km (by car) from the lake and the
village, Villa la Cava offers guests an ideal position for a relaxing and
private holiday with close proximity to the lake and town services. The property
is surrounded by a fence with electronic gate and a 1000 sq meter nicely
maintained garden. The owner has taken great effort in refurnishing the house.
The colors are lively and warm. The pleasant bedrooms on the upper floor offer
beautiful views of Lake Como. The adjacent patio invites you to enjoy outdoor
meals under the shady pergola. The garden is neat and well arranged. The back of
the lawn is bordered with bushes and trees. The panoramic main side looks down
onto the blue lake and to the mountains. An above ground swimming pool for
children is available in the garden
Villa La Cava may be rented in combination with the nearby luxury villa,
Villa
Rozzano, to accommodate groups as large as 28 guests.
Main floor
The main floor consists of an entrance from a glass-covered loggia that provides
open views over the blue waters of the lake. This loggia has an equipped
area that includes a table and chairs for 8 people. On this floor there is
a new living room with a view of the lake, a comfortable new sofa, a studio area
and satellite TV. This floor also has a storage room and stairs to the "taverna"
in the basement.
Also on the main floor is a brand new, fully equipped kitchen. The
very spacious kitchen restoration was also completed in 2008, in the "Gaggenau"
design. There is a table for twelve people as well as a gas range, large
oven, grille, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster and other amenities.
The kitchen offers access to the terrace.
Lower level taverna
This level includes a living area with sofa, satellite TV, VCR, DVD player.
From here there are French doors leading to the garden. There is one twin
bedded room (cannot be joined), one bathroom with bathtub and handheld shower,
as well as a laundry room with washing machine.
Mezzanine
The mezzanine level has a bedroom with new twin beds (can be joined), perfect
for children. There is a view of the lake from this level.
Upper floor
The upper floor contains a bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, a twin bedded room
(cannot be joined) and a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower.
Garden area
The lovely outdoors area includes a beautiful glass-covered loggia, a large
terrace and a fenced garden. There is now an above-ground swimming pool
suitable for children. Pool size: 6 x 4 m (prefabricated above ground pool for
children).
The village of Molvedo is 400 meters downhill and the village of Menaggio is
6 km away. The city of Como is a 30 km drive. Amenities provided
include a dishwasher, washing machine and parking inside the property.
Two hours of maid service are included each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Bath linens are changed each Wednesday and Saturday and bed linens are changed
each Saturday.
Pets are not permitted at La Cava.
