Set in the village of Meina, Nuvoletta is a tastefully appointed
accommodation set right on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The villa
is a perfect base for a variety of types of vacations: meditative walks
into the mountains, sunny afternoons by the private beach, day trips to
the pleasant lakeshore villages or even a tour of the Borromeo
islands. There are great opportunities for sailing, windsurfing,
water-skiing and spending the afternoon at beautiful golf courses in
the area. In only one hour by train or car, you will be shopping
in the “golden fashion triangle” of Milan.
Nuvoletta is a pleasant accommodation of 200 square meters with a
delightful garden (1000 square meters) right on the shores of Lake
Maggiore. The garden is a very peaceful place for relaxation or
sun bathing as it is made up of roses bushes, magnolias, azaleas and
many other flowers. You may also enjoy the outdoors while sitting
on the extensive terrace that overlooks the villa’s small private
harbor. The lake can be easily accessed by the private small
beach a few footsteps away.

Furnished with style, Nuvoletta is spacious and comfortable, an ideal
rental for people who want to be at walking distance from the center of
the village.
The villa lies on three levels:
Ground Floor – A cheerful living room with two large windows framing
the view of the garden and the lake. The dining room is also on
this level and contains a table for eight people and is immediately
adjacent to the living room. In the next room there is a
well-equipped, eat-in kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, an oven,
dishwasher, refrigerator and washing machine.
First Floor – There is a bathroom with a bathtub and separated
shower. There are two bedrooms on this floor also. Orange
bedroom: spacious double bedroom with a king size bed and beautiful
lake views.
Blue bedroom: twin bedded room with beds of 120cm (for
this reason the twins cannot combine). The blue bedroom has some
windows that face the road; therefore this room may have more noise
than the orange bedroom.
Second Floor – pink bedroom: twin bedded room with large windows facing
the lake. It is possible to fit the two beds together to make one
double bed. The second floor also has a bathroom with a shower.
All the bedrooms are provided with mosquito screens and fans. The
bed and bath linens are changed weekly and beach towels are provided.
Because all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs, this property
is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties.
As with all in-town houses, the sound of people and traffic can be
heard. The road which surrounds the lake passes behind the villa
and one bedroom (the blue bedroom) has windows that face the
road. However, once you enter the beautiful house and gardens,
any sounds from the outside will no longer be a priority.
In Meina you can find shops, grocery stores and restaurants. It
is also possible to order delicious take-out meals from local
restaurants. In only a five minute drive you will find yourself
at the ferry to other lakeshore villages on Lake Maggiore, as well as
beaches and sports clubs with tennis courts and swimming pools. Two
golf courses are within 10-15 minutes drive, with several others less
than an hour away. Just 10 km north is the town of Stresa and Arona is
about 4 km to the south of the villa. A visit to Switzerland
is always a possibility, as it is just half an hour away.
Cleaning includes 2 hours each Wednesday and Saturday. Linens are changed once per
week. Cars can be parked inside the property. Advanced
grocery shopping is available for a fee.
