located on the piano nobile (second floor) of Palazzo Morelli, a
historic building dating back to the 18th century. Located just
behind the beautiful Santa Croce Square, this quiet position provides a
central point of departure for sightseeing outings.
The owner of the apartment, a famous photographer and writer, has
personally furnished and decorated this unique apartment with great
care. She has blended modern taste and comfort with the great
traditional aspects of the structure. Guests will be delighted
with the hand painted frescos combined with a touch of modern design
and styles from recent decades.

Measuring 100 square meters in size, Santa Croce Morelli is located on
the first floor (American second floor) with an elevator and consists
of a splendid entrance decorated with frescoes and high ceilings that
date back to the 1700’s. An archway leads from the brightly
colored entrance into the modern living room with white couches and
marble fireplace (working fireplace). In the living room there is
also a dining area with a table for four.
The studio/den room is accessed from the entrance by way of a small
hallway. This room is striking because of its exquisite
frescoes. It is also a very useful room as there is a satellite
TV, telephone, fax, stereo and VHS. This room can comfortably
accommodate a guest (extra fee) since the sofa converts into a single
sofa bed. Next to the studio there is a bathroom with
shower. The studio room is connected to the large and bright
kitchen, which has access to a lovely terrace with table. This is a
perfect place for al fresco dinner during summer.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, freezer, oven,
dishwasher, gas range and American coffee maker.
The master bedroom reflects the good style and well-trained eye of the
owner. The furnishings and materials used are of very good
quality and have been combined in a unique fashion. The bed is a
traditional wood bed with a modern mattress (queen bed, cannot be
separated). The very crisp and clean en suite bathroom with glass
walls has a sink and bathtub with handheld shower attachment. The
toilet is separate and located next to the bathroom.
The apartment is equipped with a fireplace, telephone, elevator,
satellite and high-speed Internet connection (fee based). A baby
bed is not available.
Other accommodations include: independent heating and ventilation
(ceiling fan) in the master bedroom, hair drier and washing
machine. Because of the frescoes, the air conditioning fans are
located in the kitchen and the living room, but the full apartment
benefits.
Thanks to its central location bars, restaurants, food stores and other
facilities can be reached in a few minutes of walking.
