La Robinia is a delightful independent
stone house close to Città della Pieve, birthplace of the famous Umbrian
Renaissance painter, Perugino. In addition to its medieval charm and
character, Città della Pieve is located near the Tuscany border allowing
easy daytrips both in Umbria and Tuscany from La Robinia. Chiusi, eight
kilometers away, has direct train service to Rome and Florence.
The basement floor of La Robinia is reserved for the owner's use (he
does not live there) and the guests' accommodation is on the ground floor
with easy outdoor access. The hillside position offers a pleasant and
relaxing view over the surrounding countryside. The well
maintained garden is equipped with tables, chairs and a beautiful stone
barbecue. The house is furnished in a comfortable, simple style. There is an air conditioning system as well.
On request the very friendly owner will prepare a typical Umbrian
dinner.
Small pets are allowed at La Robinia.
